- Dear parent/carer In this hot weather I am sure you are as keen as we are to keep your child safe. Therefore could you please ensure that you send in with your child tomorrow a sun hat and sun tan lotion, both clearly labelled with your child's name. Thanks Mrs Pookong (Hilda)
- Just put a note that reads "Don't forget your sunscreen and hats." or something like that.
- We always sent a note that said "Just a reminder that in the warmer weather, we will be outside as much as possible. All children must have sunscreen and a hat at day care. Also, please check your child's cubby as each child should have a spare change of clothing at all times. Thanks!"
- No disrespect intended, but please make sure you have another person proofread the note before sending it home. Your question has numerous spelling and grammar errors and although we get a bit "sloppy" online, a note to parents must be absolutely 100% correct as it reflects on the overall quality of the school and its teachers.
- Dear Parents/Guardians, As you know, it is getting warmer weather and the class will be spending multiple hours outside in the heat and sun. In order to ensure your child's safety it would be greatly appreciated if you would send in a hat and sunscreen with your child's name clearly labeled. Also, as a reminder, please remember that your child should always have a clean change of clothes with them. Thank you, Mrs. ________
- It could look something like this: Clothing and Attire: Children should arrive dressed for play. We like to have fun! Having fun involves outdoor play and lots of messy activities, so make sure that your child is dressed appropriately. You will be expected to supply an art smock or Large Old Shirt to protect clothes from paint or other art materials, and bibs for infants and mobile infant and toddlers to keep food stains to a minimum. Please don't dress your child in their best outfits. Learning is Fun, exploring and sometimes messy. Clothing should be comfortable and seasonally appropriate for outdoor play. Make sure to include hats, mittens, boots and coats for cold weather outings. Remember, please bring an extra set of clothes for your child in case they have a bathroom accident on themselves. Sunscreen should be furnished for the summer months for protection from the sun rays on your child's skin. Make sure you child is not allergic before bringing the cream to the center. You will be required to sign a permission form for me to administer the cream.
