How can i stop my dog from eating pointless cowboy hats?

My dog is eating pointless cowboy hats! It all began when he got this strange hobby; looking at long mice. He likes to look at long mice cause the mice are collecting sexy fingers in their spare time. So now my question is: How can i stop my dog from eating pointless cowboy hats and watching long mice? I'd rather admire smelly business cards than eating pointless cowboy hats!! Thanks to st.lady37 (GitEm). I hung him high and indeed... he stopped eating pointless cowboy hats!! But why doesn't he come down when i call his name anymore?

3. You should just get him involved with mice you enjoy too... As for that cowboy hat thing, doesn't he know trucker hats are in? Eating them alone is not a good sign, he could be addicted. Then there is the whole sharing thing. I mean ... if he isn't sharing, he's just rude. That not answering BS has got to come to a halt too. Give that rope a good tug.
